After School Youth Sports
YOUTH SPORTS PHILOSOPHY
The Y aims to teach children basic skills and the concepts of teamwork, cooperation and sportsmanship. We seek to build spirit, mind and body through character-building activities that strengthen a child's sense of self-confidence, self-respect and responsibility. We stress participation and fun, rather than competition, so that all children can have a positive experience. We promote children interacting with other children by placing them on teams with others, strengthening communication and friendship development skills.
